UL Compliance Upgrades and Services

FIELD EVALUATION & LABELING

Field labeling and evaluation, sometimes referred to as UL field inspections or UL field evaluations, allows a certification expert to assess your product in the field when you have not been able to conduct the normal certification process for machinery in the US.

Most cities around the US are now required equipment to have a UL listing before allowing power to be turned on.

Evaluation services are provided by 3rd party companies that are licenses by UL and or TUV. These parties can come out to the customer location and perform the evaluation. Once completed, they will provide a report of work that needs to be completed on each machine to reach the compliance level needed.

Remediation Services

The Kredit team can assist the customer with reviewing this report and coming up with a plan of action to perform the needed upgrades.

  • Procurement, in house panel building, and on-site UL compliance upgrade work

After the remediation work is completed, the customer can then contact the licensed 3rd party compliance service to come back and review the upgrades. At this point they will provide their stamp of approval and the city inspector can verify, and allow power to be turned on to the equipment.
